First line to the sea in the Ir Yamim neighborhood in Netanya. Alona Kadouri was responsible for the design of the project, this is not the first project of the family together with Alona, so they gave her a free hand and emphasized the guiding lines, a vacation apartment that will transmit a clean and open atmosphere and that those staying in the house will be able to enjoy the view of the sea from every spot in the house. Kadouri knew how to match their desires and taste and bring everything to fruition down to the level of the smallest details.
All the furniture placement in the living room and the design line is round in order to create flow in the space. In the living room there is a big ‘Tsoof’ sofa with round contours and in front of it two round ‘Duba’ armchairs, rotating on a pivot. In the center of the living room there is a ‘leather flower’ coffee table and under it a straw carpet name ‘Cairo’, with a round shape. In the living room hangs a picture in bright blue tones by the artist Miriam Kabesa, which breaks the bright white line and blends into the blue landscape of the sea. All the furniture was custom ordered and adapted to the vision of Alona Kadouri and the family. The dining area is also round and has six seats, which allows everyone to spend time together as a family. The Enterprise model table is a thin table made of wood veneer in a round shape, and a metal leg painted brass color. Around the table are matching wooden chairs, with a light upholstered seat, in direct continuation of the colors of the house and the living room.
On the other side of the living room, a balcony that was enclosed by large glass walls and became an integral part of the living room of the house. The furniture on the balcony is similar to the furniture in the living room, which was ordered by special order. Fabrics adapted for long exposure to the sun were used for the furniture. The family’s holiday apartment is also used by them to entertain guests, and the choice of furniture colors similar to the living room was so that when they wanted to host an event with many participants in the living room, it would be possible to bring the outdoor furniture inside and it would fit into the living room.
