Interior designer Brechi Deutsch tailored a precise design for the penthouse atop a high-rise in Bnei Brak, for a client she knows well. After furnishing his home and office, it was time to take on the rooftop, a spacious 60 sqm terrace transformed into an outdoor living area that’s both smart and refined, yet relaxed and easygoing. Brechi, who never compromises on comfort or spatial clarity, planned flexible zones suited equally for a quiet morning coffee or a lively Friday gathering.
The lounge area, furnished with pieces from the Duba collection and Flower coffee tables, is situated in a covered and enclosed section, with sliding windows that can open or close according to the weather. On the other side, the dining area features two separate Bauhaus tables on hidden wheels, a setup that allows for joining, separating and reconfiguring as needed, almost like a game. At the heart of the terrace lie two Nemo sunbeds, flanked by a Tsoof sofa that was custom-designed to follow the architectural curve of the wall. Once again, Brechi brought sharp and thoughtful design, and we executed it down to the last detail. Around the outdoor kitchen are swivel Duba bar stools, sleek and comfortable, making the entire kitchen area look instantly better.
All the furniture was built for outdoor durability, with custom-fitted covers that are easily pulled out when needed. And the landscaping? It’s felt in every corner, a careful composition that ties together materials and light, permanence and change. As always, this project was driven by a real connection between us and the designer, professional, friendly, and rooted in a shared language that needs no over-explaining.
