Details:

Melt Portable LED is part of Tom Dixon’s iconic Melt collection, bringing the same striking effect of molten glass to a portable version. The design draws inspiration from natural processes such as melting glaciers and deep-space reflections, utilizing semi-transparent polycarbonate technology that gives the lamp its unique appearance. The soft light diffuses through the semi-opaque material, creating a dynamic flow effect. The rechargeable battery provides 8 to 10 hours of operation, making it ideal for placement on a living room table, a sheltered outdoor space, or a bedroom to create a warm and elegant ambiance. Just like Niso’s furniture, this piece merges material and design into a functional object with high aesthetic value.

Cleaning info:

The fixture features a durable metal base combined with a polycarbonate shade, a lightweight yet strong thermoplastic known for its high transparency and impact resistance. For routine cleaning, use a dry or slightly damp soft cloth with water only. Avoid strong cleaning agents, bleach, acidic substances, or abrasives, as they may damage the metal finish or cloud the polycarbonate. For a deeper clean, use diluted mild soap and immediately dry with a soft cloth. Regular maintenance and gentle care will help preserve its shine and quality for years to come.
