There is something about consistency that builds trust. Michael Ohayon, one of the most impressive young voices in Israeli design, has developed a clear personal language that brings calm, coherence, and bold, unapologetic color choices. He works with a winning formula, guided by a sharp eye and a refined yet edgy taste.
In this project, located in the heart of Kfar Ganim C in Petach Tikva, Michael designed a space that is entirely black, precise and enveloping. The living room centers around a Rocket sofa in burnt orange leather, with a single arm that feels like a generous chaise. Facing it are two Hug armchairs, paired with dark leather coffee and side tables, all grounded by a black Tricolor hair-on-hide rug. At the kitchen island, black leather Tweeto bar stools continue the tone. In the dining area, a round-leg Sika table in deep grey is surrounded by Tzviki chairs in matching leather. At the center, green marble pieces from Editions Milano add a sculptural and curated touch.
One of the most striking moments in the project appears in the enclosed balcony. The same Rocket sofa, this time in the S version, an outdoor adaptation of its indoor twin, sits alongside a matching Hug armchair, both upholstered in unique outdoor fabrics. The design language continues, the atmosphere remains. This is more than a sharp eye. It is a way of thinking. A design approach that creates a clear identity and a true sense of home, wherever you are.
