When creativity meets vision, spaces are created that are far beyond furniture; they are a life story. This project, in a sprawling private home in central Israel, is the fruit of close collaboration with interior designer Itamar Levy, a gifted creator with whom every project is an experience of precision and aesthetics. Itamar, who has accompanied us for many years, succeeded in translating the humble and inviting personalities of the homeowners, a successful couple from the high-tech world who love to host, into a space that radiates modest luxury and extraordinary family warmth.
The central living room was designed in a Black Oak finish that provides modern depth, featuring the iconic Romi sofa in an L-shaped configuration with luxurious feather filling, sculptural Alona armchairs, and the Inumbra library by the District Eight brand. Alongside them, the dining area with a long Gerungs table allows for elegant multi-participant hosting. In the kitchen stands a Morani table in turquoise, and Yoavi chairs with an animal print add humor to the kitchen.
The outdoors received a bold treatment: in the corner dedicated to leisure next to the billiards table, Itamar skillfully integrated our Tsoof and Oscar chaise longue in rich textures, together with Macaron coffee tables that combine pebbles within the glass, and Skinny Duba armchairs full of character. Further on, a Fight outdoor table with pebble legs identified with Niso’s precision. By the pool, Nemo sunbeds star as only they know how. The highlight is the blue cinema room, where we developed together with Itamar the Duba Cinema, a dedicated model with a cup holder, alongside a ‘Dubale Max’ sofa and a leather-covered bar table with rotating bar stools, all on an artistic carpet by the Moooi brand of the legendary Marcel Wanders.
The home cinema revolution in recent years, the home cinema has ceased to be just a space for watching movies and has become the ‘experience center’ of the modern home. The trend today is to create rooms that combine full social hosting, from designed beverage bars to ergonomic furniture that allows for long stays. At Niso, we believe such a room should be an “island” of disconnection from the world, a place where technology and personal design work together to create family memories, exactly as we demonstrated in this spectacular project.
