In the heart of Jerusalem’s German Colony, in a home with an elegant façade that carries the quiet spirit of Jerusalem stone, architect Jeffrey Mark has crafted a two level residence that moves gently between material depth and textile softness. Over the past years we’ve collaborated with Jeffrey on many projects, and it is always inspiring to see how his precise architectural language meets his love for luxurious textiles and artistic detail. This home is a clear expression of his ability to distill understated luxury, a feeling almost like an additional layer of Jerusalem’s history, interpreted through a contemporary lens.
At the center of the main living level lies a spacious salon, where two Bench sofas face one another, creating an inviting architectural frame. Beside them sits the Tsoof sofa, upholstered in a rich, intricate fabric with a blurred pattern of tiny circles. Opposite, two Hug armchairs combine light nubuck leather with dark fabric, adding a balanced presence that feels both refined and relaxed. In the heart of the space stand the Flower coffee tables, wrapped in leather and topped with glass, adding a layer of clarity and safety without compromising the material warmth of the leather.
In the dining area stands a Rectangular Enterprise table with a leather surface and a concealed one meter extension, an elegant solution for generous hosting. In another corner of the home, a Round Enterprise table is paired with dark Liz chairs upholstered in a diagonal striped pattern that brings a quiet sense of joy and energy into this restrained, sophisticated home. This is a house that moves between history and contemporary design, between deep materials and rich textiles, and above all, between Jerusalem precision and the warm design signature of Jeffrey Mark.
