Details:

The Bump Carafe & Filter Set by Tom Dixon reveals coffee preparation through subtly green, translucent glass. Handmade from borosilicate glass, its double-walled construction helps reduce heat transfer, while a reusable stainless-steel filter enables pour-over brewing. Geometric forms and transparency recall laboratory glassware, bringing a considered visual character to the daily ritual. Coffee, glass and structure become part of the same serving experience.

Cleaning info:

Glass is an elegant and durable material, yet it is sensitive to scratches, water spots, and fingerprints. For daily cleaning, it is recommended to use warm water with mild soap and a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge. To ensure perfect drying and prevent marks, wipe with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid using strong degreasers, acidic substances, bleach, or rough scouring pads, as these may scratch or damage the transparency of the material. A thorough cleaning every few weeks with diluted vinegar in water can help remove stubborn stains and restore the shine. For delicate or particularly thin glassware, it is recommended to wash by hand rather than in a dishwasher to prevent cracks or heat damage. Decanters and glassware with narrow openings can be cleaned using a dedicated soft brush, warm water, and a drop of soap, and should be dried upside down to prevent water accumulation. With the right care, your glass will maintain its beauty and shine for years to come.
