The 3D printed rim and interior remain visible, bringing fine printing lines into contact with the texture of the leather. In an object small enough to hold in your hand, Doppio expresses NISO’s approach: a deep familiarity with materials and craft, paired with a curiosity for new technologies. The stand works on its own or fits inside the Doppio Desk Tray, leaving room for other small essentials. Use coasters and placemats regularly, and avoid placing heavy objects with pronounced bases, such as a heavy vase, on the leather for extended periods, as they may leave lasting indentations. This will help maintain the leather’s elegance, durability, and beauty for years to come.
